Qualifying Charitable Organization Tax Credit Information
Your donation may qualify for a tax credit.  Arizona law provides a tax credit for financial contributions made to qualifying non-profit organizations that help working low-income Arizonans.  This used to be called the "working poor tax credit."  The Institute was certified by the Arizona Department of Revenue as a qualifying organization beginning January 1, 2011. (Click here to view the Arizona Department of Revenue certification.)  As of January 1, 2016, the state allows you to donate up to $800 for married couples ($400 if single or head of household) to the Institute and take the amount donated directly off your Arizona state income taxes.  For more information on the Qualifying Charitable Organization Tax credit, click here. Upon receipt of your donation, we will send you a receipt for your tax records.
